As a cost bearer, an health insurance fund is permanently incorporated into the organizational structure of METEAN. This ensures that medical technology solutions that are both sensible and feasible in terms of health and economy can be developed and embedded into the overall health care process.

With its scientific expertise and experience in medical technology research and development at all stages, Fraunhofer IIS actively plays a role as an integrator for the individual institutions.
